1. Understanding Thatched Roofs course includes the Introduction to Thatch and Identifying Defects in Thatched roofs for Condition Rated and Full Building Surveys.

Venue: This course is run in The Drewe Arms in Drewsteignton. I thatched this pub in 1998. The village of Drewsteignton is in the Dartmoor National Park.
2. Weekend Practical Thatching Courses: This practical weekend Thatching Course is for anyone who would like an unusual weekend break or gain an appreciation of the art of Thatching.
If you are interested in thatch come to glorious rural Devon, to unwind, and discover the ancient craft of Thatching ~ “hands on!” Being shown the straws by a retired Master Thatcher and experience great hospitality provided by Anna weekend break but you will be thatching on a roof frame in the barn. Using Water reed and Combed Wheat reed.

3. Thatch Summer School: This is a course where we combine the Understanding Thatched Roofs Course and then the Weekend Practical Thatching Course.
